The Weather Channel reports that this winter weather and snow won’t stop anytime soon. A lot of people think that the media is making too big of a deal about the snow and record breaking freezing temperatures. You just have to take it slow on the roads and you’ll be fine…right? That’s what we tell ourselves. We don’t want to be that person who chickens out because of a little snow and doesn’t make it to work. Even worse, some people can’t afford to miss work because of hard economic times.
Then you hear aobut the multicar pile up in Indiana that has killed several people and injured dozens. It really makes you think about being safe on the roads. It’s moments like these that you do want to have an emergency kit in your car. You don’t want to be stranded in your car for hours in the bitter cold. You want to make sure you have the essentials (food, water, warmth) and you want to also make sure you can communicate with family and friends and call for help.
That’s what so many people forget to think about–protect your phone. With the impact of an accident, unless you protect your phone, it can be damaged from banging around your cupholder. When you need it the most, it will be on the floorboard, out of reach. That’s a smartphone holder is your best option. Your phone is safe, secure, and within reach, even in a winter storm, multicar pileup.
